Research & Placemaking

Throughout my career, I have been a custodian and advocate for venues and places that foster creativity. My long-term aim is to open an educational test space venue, underpinned by my doctoral research exploring the synergy of venues and education.

Test space venue project

  • I am developing a business and community impact plan for an educational test space venue

  • This space will trial different sustainable financial and cultural programme modules

  • Build on the cultural building capacity of the city of Bristol and the wider region

  • Provide a space for students to learn practical skills such as curation, venue operations and event management
